FAQ'S

What types of issues related to women’s mental health do you address?

Some examples include but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, perinatal mood disorders, fertility issues, perimenopause and menopause, body-image, identity and gender-related concerns, trauma or loss, caregiving or career burnout.

What can I expect in the first session?

In your first session, we will take the time to explore what has brought you to therapy, gather background and begin creating a personalized, integrative plan that fits your unique needs.  Tilted Root strongly believes that healing best takes place with a strong therapeutic relationship and in an inclusive, safe and nonjudgmental space.

What are your fees and do you accept insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance because I want to provide the best care possible to my clients and under the constraints, time-limits and restrictions that insurance companies place, it is not always possible.

I offer superbills so you can get reimbursement with Out of Network Benefits and I am happy to assist you with the process.

$200 - individual virtual therapy

$215 - walk and talk therapy

$265 - couples therapy

What is your cancellation policy?

24 hours before a scheduled appointment would be preferential but life is crazy and stuff happens.

If something unprecedented comes up and you text or email, we are usually flexible to reschedule last minute.

Ok, I am interested, how do I reach out to work with a therapist at Tilted Root?

Choosing a therapist who is the right fit for you and your goals can be a process.

All therapists at Tilted Root offer a free 15 minute phone consultation for new clients who are considering therapy.  There is no commitment or expectation.
